How tight do my straps need to be?Updated 4 days ago
We've designed Supermatic® to work no matter how tight you like to run your straps. For optimum performance, we advice you to ride them "snug, but not too tight" to allow seamless and swift entry & exit, and avoid any pressure points.
Most people like to ride our Hybrid Straps, which have seen success throughout our binding range, fairly loose for a surfy type of ridefeel.
That said, if you like the rachet your buckles really tight, you'll be happy that the Locking Strap Ratchets will prevent any buckle slippage as you're riding. In addition, thanks to the Active Strap system which lifts the ankle strap up as the highback lowers, you'll still find getting into and out of the Supermatic® easy.
