How tight do my straps need to be?

We've designed Supermatic® to work no matter how tight you like to run your straps. For optimum performance, we advice you to ride them "snug, but not too tight" to allow seamless and swift entry & exit, and avoid any pressure points. Most people lik

Do the hibacks fold down?

Absolutely! Fold your hibacks down for space-saving storage or easy transport in a boardbag. Pro tip: open the ankle & toe straps, then fold the hibacks down for maximum space efficiency.

Do the hibacks rotate?

Due to the way the hiback is attached to the hiback bottom, hiback rotation is not currently supported on Supermatic®. But you can easily adjust the forward lean for more of a direct feeling into your edges.

How do I open the binding release lever?

Really easy! Push the release lever down with your fingers until it hits the stopper. We designed it to be oversize for easy use, even when wearing gloves. Although it's tempting to use your boot to push the lever, we don't recommend it, because you'

How do I center Supermatic® on my board?

Do I need to use a leash?

Your board should be properly attached to you with an approved retention device at all times while riding or walking. We have included a leash for your convenience, please use it. If your retention device is removed, for any reason, turn the board up

How do I lower hibacks to get onto the chairlift?

Tilt the hiback all the way forward until it makes contact with the Hybrid Anklestrap, just like a normal hiback. Please be careful whenever moving around with one foot attached to the board.

Does the Nidecker Supermatic® work with The Channel or 3D board Systems?

The Nidecker Supermatic® comes with our Offset Disc, which allows you to mount your Supermatic® to Channel, 3D, 4x4 or 4x2 binding mounts. There's not a mounting system in use today which Supermatic® won't fit. For more information on the Offset Disc

My binding is not hooking in.

Likely due to snow and ice accumulation.

My heel feels higher than the front of my foot.

Likely because the binding is not closed correctly

Likely due to upward force or snow & ice accumulation. Firstly and most importantly, please do not use your boot to push the lever down - it's harder to control the force with your boot than with your hand, which could lead to lever breakage.
