Likely due to unintended strap length adjustment.

• Check that the diagonal strap is not in contact with your boot when in the closed position (see video). Supermatic® is a two strap binding; the diagonal strap's only function is to keep your ankle strap in the right place when the binding is open. There is no performance advantage to it being really tight. 
• Check that your strap buckles have not moved from their trimmed position. If necessary, readjust your straps and make sure the Locking Strap Ratchets are in the locked position.
